This crossover SUV is available in four trim levels: the 1SV (or base), Essence, Preferred, and Sport Touring. All Encores come standard with a six-speed automatic transmission, front-wheel drive, and a turbocharged 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine. Every trim level, except for the base trim, offers all-wheel drive. Standard features include keyless ignition and entry, heated mirrors, roof rails, rear privacy glass, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a fold-flat front passenger seat, and 60/40-split folding rear seats. The base and Preferred trim levels also include impressive features, but the more desirable features are only available on the higher-priced trim levels. You’ll find that the base and Preferred trim levels have similar equipment. The only difference is, on the Preferred, you’ll also find a cargo cover and floor mats. You’ll also have eligibility for additional options including blind-spot monitoring, remote start, and rear-cross traffic.

Are you looking for something with a little more bells and whistles? When you move up to the Sport Touring trim level, you’ll find fog lights, a remote start, and a rear spoiler. These are all added to the features that are already available in the base model and Preferred trim levels. You can also pick up an optional seven-speaker Bose sound system and navigation system. All of the trim levels, except for the base, also feature a sunroof.

Moving up to the Essence trim level adds LED lighting, a power-adjustable passenger seat, driver-seat memory settings, leather upholstery, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, rear-cross traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring, and a 120-volt household-style outlet. Pick up an optional package for the Essence that includes automatic wipers, forward collision alert, front and rear parking sensors, an advanced carbon filter, and lane departure warning. You can also pick up an optional navigation system and a seven-speaker Bose sound system.

The four most popular 2020 Buick Encores are the Preferred 4dr SUV, Preferred 34dr SUV AWD, Essence 4dr SUV AWD, and 1SV 4dr SUV. The MSRP for the Preferred 4dr SUV is $24,600. It’s a 6-speed shiftable-automatic that seats five and gets 25 MPG in the city and 30 on the highway. The Preferred 4dr SUV AWD’s MSRP is $26,100. It’s a 6-speed shiftable-automatic that seats five and gets 24 miles per gallon in the city and 29 on the highway. The Essence 4rd SUV AWD’s MSPR is $30,800, and it seats five. It’s a 6-speed shiftable automatic that gets 24 miles per gallon in the city and 29 on the highway. The 1SV 4dr SUV’s MSRP is $23,200, and it’s a 6-speed shiftable automatic.
